Surrey Heath Choral Society was formed in 1986 by the amalgamation of France Hill and Camberley Choral Societies and currently has around 75 members. It aims to present two or three major concerts each year and on occasions joins with other local choirs to perform some of the larger scale works - these have included Elgar's Dream of Gerontious, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Berlioz' Grande Messe des Morts, Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man - Choral Suite and the Verdi Requiem. A number of concerts are supported by professional soloists and accompanied by an orchestra. Choir rehearsals are held each Monday evening (with the exception of Bank Holidays) at 7.30 - 9.30 p.m. in the hall at High Cross Church, Camberley. If you have an interest in singing, please come along - you will be assured of a warm welcome. Contact us for further details. We are seeking to recruit a Musical Director
